Here at Dr Forest our Seaweed fertiliser is made from only the best, responsibly sourced seaweed, hand-harvested from the Welsh coast. The aim was to produce a completely Organic Seaweed product that was also cost-effective. We only use living fresh seaweed and harvest by trimming the newest growth and leaving the rest of the organism intact. This harvesting technique allows the seaweed to continue growing. The newest growth is also the most nutritionally dense part of the seaweed and is packed with growth hormones.

Triple Extraction:

  1. Freshly chopped seaweed is chopped and boiled for 24 hours to dissolve any water soluble nutrients in the seaweed.
  2. Fresh seaweed is then added to the seaweed "stock." Yeast and Sugar are added and the mixture is fermented for two weeks..
  3. Homemade lacto-bascillus culture, EM-1 and sugar are added  and the solution is fermented for a month.

This product is a small batch product crafted by my own hands, absolutely no compromises on quality.

A little Information about seaweed.

The sea has every element on the periodic table and every micro nutrient dissolved into it. Seaweed is a dynamic accumulator, so it can absorb the micro-nutrient's from the sea. This is why seaweed never has a nutrient deficiency! It chelates these minerals into an easily absorbable form that are in quantities perfect for plant growth. Seaweed contains a good blend of Nitrogen Phosphorous and Potassium as well as micronutrients (Ca, Mg, S, Mn, Cu, Fe, Zn, etc.) It contains over 70 vitamins, minerals and enzymes such as cytokinins, auxin-like gibberellins, betaines, mannitol, organic acids, polysaccharides, amino acids, proteins and even compounds not found from any other source such as Alginic Acid which are all very beneficial and widely used in agriculture. These help Seaweed's in the wild to grow up to two feet a day!
