Calcined Rock Phosphate – A plant available organic phosphorous fertiliser.

Derived from stone quarries and then heat treated, this is an animal free alternative to bone meal. It promotes strong root growth in vegetables and fruit. 

Calcined rock phosphate is type of rock phosphate that has been heated to a high temperature, typically between 800 and 1000 degrees Celsius, in a process called calcination. This process drives off the water and volatile components from the raw phosphate rock, resulting in a more reactive form of the mineral.

This is a fertiliser used by organic farmers but not available for the retail market until now.

It is also produced by a family owned British company

Directions for use:

Soil Mix 2.5 – 5 ml per litre of soil.

Top Dressing 0.5 - 2 ml per litre. 

Outdoor 50 – 100g per metre squared. Every 6 – 12 weeks during growing season.
