The Autumn Lawn Kit with granulated gypsum added, for lawns on heavy clay. Alfalfa Meal Pellets give low, slow, plant-based nitrogen for the end of the season. Polyhalite brings potassium with calcium, magnesium and sulphur. Gypsum supplies calcium and sulphur without altering pH, which on a clay that disperses and sets hard is the mechanism worth having.

Two honest caveats. Gypsum earns its place on clay and not much elsewhere, which is why it is a separate kit rather than folded into the standard one. And there is no field trial comparing autumn with spring gypsum application on turf — the case for the autumn timing is mechanism reasoning, and we would rather say so than dress it up.
Each bag carries its own application rate; we have not set a combined rate for the kit.
