Why tomato, chilli and strawberry feeds are not interchangeable
All three are fruiting crops with a potassium habit, which is why people try to feed them from one bag. The differences matter. Tomato 3-4-6 is built for fruit fill once trusses set. Chilli 3-3.5-7 keeps nitrogen moderate so capsaicin and flavour volatiles are not diluted by lush growth. Strawberry 3-2-7 is potassium-led with nitrogen held down so berries stay firm and aromatic rather than leafy.
