Fertilising tomato plants and feeding a mixed vegetable bed
Tomato plant feed is potassium-forward once fruit is on the truss: 3-4-6 is that shape. A mixed vegetable bed still has leafy crops that want more even nutrition, which is what 4-5-6 is for. Putting the tomato ratio on cabbages, or the veg ratio on a heavily fruiting greenhouse, is how both jobs get done badly.
