Veg 4-4-4 is designed for the vegetative stage of plant growth. The fertiliser includes nitrogen, phosphorous, potassium, calcium, magnesium, micro nutrients, natural growth promoters (found in seaweed & diastatic malted barley), humic & fulvic acid and micro-organisms.

All carefully sourced high quality products.

  • Increases Flavour and Aroma - As a significant percentage of the nutrients are insoluble, microbes are required to make them plant available. This process produces secondary metabolites as a by-product which are responsible for flavour and aroma in the resulting crop.
  • Economical - When compared to liquid fertilisers it is far cheaper. We are also lower in price than the dry fertiliser competition.
  • Soil Can Be Re-Used - As the fertiliser does not contain mineral salts, it actually improves soil quality over time. Therefore soil can be re-used again and again. You still can get build up of certain elements although this can be easily mitigated by replacing 5-15% of soil after each cycle or by flushing water through the soil mix.
  • Easy To Use - Simply sprinkle the fertiliser on the surface of the soil every couple of weeks.
  • Blend of Fast- and Slow-Release Nutrients - We use a variety of different input sources for each nutrient for sustained nutrient release.
  • Premium Ingredients - We only use the finest ingredients possible, whether that is micronised rock phosphate or the Yorkshire polyhalite mineral used at Wimbledon to keep their lawns lush and green.
  • Organic – All our ingredients that are certified organic fertilisers by trusted certification providers.
  • Multi-Input Fertiliser – Our fertilisers are made up of multiple different fertilisers, carefully selected and blended to ensure they are perfectly balanced and contain all of the necessary nutrients in the desired quantities.
  • Build Soil Health – Non-organic fertilisers contain salt which makes them nutrient soluble. These salts build up over prolonged use and start to damage the soil and plant health. Organic fertilisers promote soil health and beneficial microorganisms required for optimum plant health.
  • UK Produced – We buy British ingredients where possible - such as our Scottish seaweed and Yorkshire polyhalite - and produce the fertiliser in our Cheshire unit.

FAQ

Do you have a feeding schedule?

Yes, check product images for the schedule.

How do I work out how much I need to buy?

Order enough for 1ml = 1g. So if you need 750ml for your feed schedule buy 750g.

How do I measure ml?
A teaspoon is 5 ml, and a tablespoon is 17 ml. For larger quantities, you can use a small measuring jug. Volume measurements are often easier and remove the need for scales.

What pot size do you recommend?
We recommend a minimum pot size of 20 litres. A size of 30–50 litres is ideal, as it is still easy to lift.

Can you use these fertilizers with a coco coir medium?
Yes, they can be used with coco coir. We recommend supplementing coco coir with 10% worm castings to add beneficial microbes, though this is not essential. Coco coir does require more fertilizer and cal-mag, so we advise using the upper end of the recommended dosages.

Can you grow in compost from the garden centre?

No it’s terrible with a couple of exceptions. Best to avoid.

Can you use grow shop commercial soil mixes?

Yes but many have fertiliser in them so you won’t need as much or sometimes any in the soil mix to begin with. Check the instructions on the soil mix label.

What is the mineral mix? Do I need to add it to my soil/coco mix?

The mineral mix contains volcanic rock minerals, seashell meal, gypsum, and clay minerals. It adds calcium and trace minerals to the soil, reduces the chances of deficiencies, improves flavour, and increases the sugar content of produce.

Can you use this with autoflowers?

Yes but I would recommend doing half veg and half bloom for the 1st top dress during the flowering stage of plant growth.

Can you re-use the soil afterwards?

Yes please see feeding schedule for more information.
